Strategy & positioning
A senior outside eye on what the brand stands for, who it's for, and how it shows up, the work that comes before tactics and decides whether they pay off.
We work with businesses who feel stuck in their marketing by auditing their processes and strategy to find efficiencies and solutions that move the needle.
Hyperlocal means the specific places your customers actually are: counties, towns, neighborhoods, Facebook groups, Reddit threads, the small clusters of online conversation where they talk to each other. These are the places that move the needle when your brand shows up in them. The channel mix in 2026 is wider than the 2018 hyperlocal playbook.

We map your business into the 2026 discovery surfaces that actually produce inquiries for your vertical: organic search, local pack, Instagram and TikTok search, AI Overviews, neighborhood platforms.
Blog and social content built around what your customers actually search and share, AI-assisted but never AI-only and edited by a human who cares how it sounds.
The boring-but-load-bearing infrastructure that decides whether any of it works: GA4, GBP, Search Console, CRM hygiene, lead routing, attribution, and the schema and citation work that makes the brand findable in AI search.
The kind of small, specific move that doesn't fit cleanly into "SEO" or "social media" but is exactly the work we get called for.
The situation: A regional marketing team was producing Instagram Reels for their clients on a consistent schedule. Reach was modest. The content felt fine. But the Reels weren't producing meaningful inbound from people who hadn't already heard of the brand.
The diagnosis: The Reels were being designed to engage the existing audience, not to be found by new customers searching Instagram. Instagram is now a real search engine for local discovery in many verticals, and the search results are won by content built deliberately for those queries. The team's content was being optimized for the feed, not for the search bar.
The shift: We pulled the actual Instagram search results their clients should appear in. Reverse-engineered the positioning, captions, on-screen text, and metadata that gets a Reel surfaced for the queries that produce real inquiries. Not "make more content." Make the content land in the search results customers were already running.
The takeaway: A lot of what gets called SEO in 2026 isn't on Google anymore. The advisory work is figuring out where your customers actually search and treating those surfaces with the same rigor a search engine deserves. Related: hyperlocal marketing isn't what it was in 2018, and Reddit is where ChatGPT learns about your brand.

There is no one who is as well rounded as Jeff Macpherson. He does, by far, the best web design work I've ever seen, is extremely responsive and can always handle any "curve balls" I throw at him. The guy can do it all, and do it extremely well. Go to Jeff, he's top of the line.

We help brands audit their marketing, figure out what should change, and either advise the in-house team or ship the work ourselves. The goal is getting the brand in front of more high-intent customers. Depending on what we find, that means some mix of SEO, content, positioning, brand work, getting found in AI search, or the marketing operations layer.
Hyperlocal used to mean ranking in Google's local pack. In 2026 it means showing up wherever local customers actually search: Google, Apple Maps, Instagram search, TikTok geo discovery, AI Overviews, neighborhood Facebook groups, Reddit threads. Different brands have different customers searching in different places. The advisory work is figuring out which of those channels matter for your specific business and how to be found in them. (Longer read: hyperlocal marketing isn't what it was in 2018.)
We lead with organic strategy because that is what compounds. If paid is the right tool for what you are trying to do, we will say so and either coordinate with your existing paid team or bring a vetted paid partner in. We are not a media-buying shop, but we also do not pretend paid does not exist.
Whatever the brand cares about. Usually some combination of: inbound inquiries from the channels we activate, branded search growth, visibility in AI search, position movement on commercial queries that actually convert, and the qualitative read on whether the marketing feels coherent again. We do not lead with impressions, reach, or engagement rate.
Yes. South Jersey is where the practice is based and where most of the work happens, but the hyperlocal craft applies wherever local customers are. We work remote-first.
A 30-minute call. We ask what you're trying to do, what's been tried, and what isn't working. By the end of the call we'll either have a real read on whether we can help, a few small things you could try without hiring anyone (our free AI visibility checker is a good place to start), or a clear "we are not the right fit and here's who is." No pitch deck, no follow-up sequence.
