Reviews Cards · How-to guide

From a 5-star review to a posted social card, in about a minute.

Reviews Cards lives inside your platform. Install it, point it at your Google business, and it turns your best reviews into branded square images, ready to post. Here is the whole thing, step by step.

STEP 01

Install it in a sub-account, not at the agency level

This is the one thing that trips people up, so do it right the first time. Reviews Cards works per location. Open the sub-account you want it in, then install it from that sub-account's App Marketplace. You will land straight in the app.

✓ Do this

Install from inside the sub-account

Switch into the sub-account first. Open its App Marketplace. Install Reviews Cards there. It opens, auto-detects your Google business, and you are ready.

✗ Avoid this

Installing at the agency level

An agency-level install does not attach to any one location, so you get a chooser with everything greyed out. If you see the screen below, you installed in the wrong place.

Seeing "Pick a sub-account" with greyed rows? Uninstall, switch into the actual sub-account, and install from its marketplace. That fixes it.
STEP 02

Confirm your Google business

On first open, the app reads the location's address and finds your Google Business Profile automatically. You just confirm it.

  • If the match looks right, you are done. Nothing to type.
  • If it grabbed the wrong listing, open Settings and search by business name and city to fix it.
  • Google returns your most recent 5-star reviews. New 5-star reviews flow in over time.
No Place IDs to copy or paste. Search-as-you-type does the lookup for you.

STEP 03

Make a card from a real review

Click Generate from a review. The app pulls your newest 5-star review you have not posted yet, has AI pick the punchiest line, and drops it onto a branded card using a real photo from your business.

  • Swap regenerates the same review with a different quote and photo.
  • Skip discards it and pulls the next review in line.
  • Run out of new reviews? It recycles older ones with a fresh look so your feed never goes quiet.

Every finished card is saved to your Media Library automatically.

STEP 3B

Or build one by hand

Got a glowing review from somewhere Google does not show, a Facebook recommendation, an email, a text? Click Create one by hand, type it in, and generate the same branded card.

  • Type the reviewer name and the review text.
  • Pick the platform badge: Google or Facebook.
  • Drop in your own photo, or leave it blank to use your brand color.
It uses the same branding as your automatic cards, so a hand-made one looks identical to the rest.

STEP 04

Set it once, then forget it

Pick how often cards should generate and where they should go. The schedule applies to every location on the account.

  • How often: manual, every 3 days, weekly, every 2 weeks, or monthly.
  • Schedule post: queue a draft 1 day, 3 days, or a week out, or choose draft-only and schedule it yourself.
  • Choose your channels: tick exactly which connected social accounts each card posts to, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and any others you have connected.

Every card also lands in your Media Library automatically, so you always have the image on hand, and it queues as a draft in your Social Planner so nothing posts without you seeing it first.

STEP 05

Pause and billing are two different things

Need a break for one location? Flip Pause in that location's Settings. It stops pulling reviews and stops making new drafts, immediately.

Active Paused
Pause does not stop billing. Your subscription keeps running while paused. To stop billing entirely, uninstall the app from your marketplace settings.
EVERYTHING ELSE

One place for the set-once stuff

Branding, aesthetic, logo, and the Google connection all live behind Settings so your day-to-day view stays focused on cards. Open the panel below to see what is inside.
